- W4MBGExplorernew door speakers! well, one actually. i ran out of time before work. i am planning to install the other one tomorrow. the oem speakers could not be driven hard enough to be heard over the road and engine noise without distorting horribly. new kenwood 6 x 8s fixed that right up. the rear speakers will be going soon as well. the DW came up with an interesting idea: move the rear speakers up front to the cabover area. then nobody has to have a speaker right above their head, and the passengers will have a decent stereo spread as well. i think i will share the left and right HT speakers with the dash stereo. not too likely that we will be watching a movie and listening to the stereo at the same time. i have a spare 4PDT switch at home that i was using to share a pair of speakers between two stereos (HT and a tube rig). that should do it.
- EastwacamperExplorerTyrone, how about I do the soap on top and have someone run a hair dryer on cool in the general area of where the water in entering the roof. Great idea. Then I can see which product to use to patch. Thanks.
- magik235ExplorerI picked up the RV today after it got new 6 new tires, wheel bearings packed and a transmission flush. I flushed the winter antifreeze from the water system and fresh water tank then filled my water tank. I started my gas water heater to make sure it still worked after my repairs last fall.

I ordered a retro fit kit from Amazon yesterday after I found out they couldn't convert it. Today, Amazon informed me the order was cancelled because the kit is banned in Wisconsin. - TyroneandGladysExplorer

Checked the carpeted ceiling for wet spots using a battery-operated sensor. It's wet and I need to figure out how to reseal the fiberglas roof to avoid more damage. I'll call a dealer place and an rv repair place to see what this will cost.
