Picked up my little class c in Ellensburg WA and drove

I managed 65mph in windy, winding conditions and made it home in
one piece. First time for me as husband died a year ago and
up until today I was afraid to go get it out of storage.
WooHoo...I'll never stay home now. Thanks to all who post such
valuable lessons, warnings and inf. Much appreciated!!

So we changed out the factory radio to an aftermarket with Bluetooth. So now we listen to it through the stereo with no wires running to it.
- Dieter_HeinzerExplorerTook the Baby into the local RV dealer to have them check why the refrigerator is not getting cold enough. Since (like a dummy...) I forgot to leave the fridge turned on, I'll have to go back in the morning so they can use their infrared temperature sensor gadget to test the temp.
- magik235ExplorerToday I applied Eternabond roof tape to seal the bathroom vent and a roof seam.

- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
I added a dedicated inverter outlet in the kitchen--that lets me use both shore power and the batteries at the same time. I tend to do a lot of electric cooking! - magik235ExplorerWe just got back from an 11 day road trip to Phoenix, AZ. We put on 4173 miles at 59 miles per hour. Yesterday was the the longest run of 839 miles because we wanted to get home.
- 2doghomeExplorerHi Mike, we took our Minnie out for the first weekend trip to Lake O' Pines Alley Creek Camp Ground. Love it! Backed up into the space with the help of the rear view camera, hooked up electric and water, moved the slide out and we were done. When we left, it was even better since we got to watch other people hook up their campers, sway bars and chains. We just disconnected electric and water and drove away. WHy didn't we buy a motorhome in the first place?
- mikeleblanc413ExplorerI finally got my TireMan's put on...finding someone who was excited about the job and KNEW how to do it was a real challenge. I used Dwayne Dougharty (spelling close) at Sam's (small family tire company) in DeQuincy, Louisiana. I drove 65 miles to have it done...am very pleased. I put the Pressure Pro's on within a day...this was the last, at least for now, of my personalization of the new to me Winnie!
So much, including the original purchase, I could not have accomplished without the help of so many people at this forum. THANKS to everyone!!!
