- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Took it in for new rear brakes. The front ones after 91,000 kilometers are in new condition. The rear--I'll need one new rotor--they think the other can possibly be "saved". I've decided I'll simply get 2 new rotors. - blackfyretervExplorerToday I added a simple hook and eye to the door that separates the bedroom from the rest of the coach so I can keep my two male dogs safely separated if I want to leave them inside uncrated while I go somewhere else. They get along great if I'm around but since both are intact I don't take chances when I'm gone.
Hubby also added a new sewer valve today as he wasn't happy with the one that came on the MH.
Our next project is researching back up camera systems, I want to get one installed soon. - BennieHExplorerRemoved the carpeting from the living area this weekend and installed a vinyl plank floor.
Wow, what a difference! Just need to finish re-installing the dinette. Should have it wrapped up the coming weekend.
Toughest part was getting under the slideout for the removal. - blackfyretervExplorerWe upgraded from a 24' to a 29' Class C last weekend. Today I made new insulated fan covers and window covers out of a large roll of foil Bubble insulation. The entire roll cost me the same price as buying premade fan covers and a door window cover. Now I have a nice large one for my back window and large side ones for the portion of windows that don't open leaving room to still be able to slide the portion back that does open. Considering summer has finally decided to make an appearance in Northwest Washington state, I've noticed a 7 degree temperature drop inside already :) (and my hubby thought I was being silly! LOL)
I also bought some 4" wide industrial strength velcro and attached it to the dinette cushions and base so that the cushions would not slide around all the time. I sit at the dinette and use it as an office desk for several hours a day when on the road for extended periods and get tired of having to stand up and shove the cushion back in place every hour or so. This seems to be doing the trick after 5 hrs :)
Lastly I hung a door mirror because we ladies like to see what we look like in a full length mirror before heading out for the day ;) - tenbearExplorerReplaced my Magnetek 7345 converter with a PD9260 converter/charger. Should make life off the grid easier.
- -LqdskierExplorerGave the MH a good cleaning including the roof and heading out to Half Moon Bay in the morning.

No, but the fans draw less than one amp.tenbear wrote:
pianotuna, is the power for the external fans included in the 2.4 kwh? Doing the math it doesn't look like it is.
Interesting.
