- Navy_SmokerExplorerWell my first Dicor fix didn't completely solve my problem. We had some torrential rains today and I can still feel a lttle moisture in the fron right corner of the roof. Guess I'll be back uo ther tomorrow looking for other problems. It's a good thing a bought 3 extra tubes of Dicor yesterday in anticipaton of thorough inspection the end of Ocober.
- thebeach300Explorerheading out this weekend to state park to relax.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Rinsed the black tank for about 20 minutes while I was pumping water into the gray water tank from the on board water tank. - Navy_SmokerExplorerStarted with a test drive with the toad hooked-up, all went well. Then did an internal inspection after a rain storm and found that I had a leak on the extreme edge where the cab-over section is joined the rest of the body, so I made a temporary fix with duct tape. I'll be on the roof early tomorrow to fix it with Dicor so that we can leave on a 4 day trip Monday. Eternabond may be in my future.
- EastwacamperExplorerTried to find the phone number I had for the place to put Fantastic vent fans in the motor home.
- woodworker414ExplorerHiya all. Great weather over in the center of the USA.Well my neighbor, my friend, my mechanic, came by and put the new ABS sensor on the rear pumpkin today. Then had him put a new flasher element in to replace th orginal, because I had installed LED tall lights and they flash really fast. This is the Ford part that is suppose to slow the light down to a more normal speed.but it only slow the a tiny bit. So if some one has and idea that would work, to slow the blinkers downt to a more normal speed, that would be good. If I have to I can live with this, but don't want to. Got the EASY CURTAINS Thur. afternoon, waited till Fri. morning to try them out when it was a lot cooler. WOW, do I like these inside the cab privacy curtains.
Have safe travels out there.
Bill - fordman17ExplorerReplaced the original tv and vcr that came with this 2003 Coachmen we purchased last year,i mounted the dvd under the flat screen tv and looks good and better than where the old vcr was in the cabinet, hard to get to before.
Also fitted 1/2 inch styrofoam in the roof vents and made big difference in the heat coming in,also was much quieter inside when i took it out for it's weekly drive and gen run. - rehoppeExplorerPut on the front shocks. Ride and handling much improved with a new set of Bilsteins.
- Navy_SmokerExplorerBrought it home from the repair shop after having the MH and toad wiring fixed. I installed a Jack antenna after I got it home.
- bob-lori-scoutExplorerTook a nap in it! We were sitting in there talking about what special things we should take on our planned trip to Illinois (the longest one we will have been on so far, about 1500 miles round trip), and I was so tired I curled up in the back bed and took a nice nap - for some reason that RV is my most favorite place to take a nap! On the way back we're going to stop for a couple days at Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky, anybody want to recommend their favorite campground there? I think there is Piney Campground, Hillmans Ferry, Wranglers and Energy Lake? We like lots of trees and privacy, some close fairly easy trails to walk Scout and hopefully on the water. We'll be getting there on a Monday so hopefully won't have to worry about reserving a spot.
