- OldmeExplorerReturned from a 3 week trip to see the daughter, grand children and great grand child in Louisiana. So it was cleaning time.
We also decided that were are uncomfortable with the standard Class C dinette.
So, I took it out.
I am keeping the table (I had made a single support for it awhile back so there is NO front leg) and we are adding two mid back computer chairs which will work better for the two of us.
Remounted the CB (used it when I85 near Montgomery Al. was closed for over 24 hours after and accident)to give us more usable space. - pianotunaNomad IIIMoved out of the campground and went back to urbandocking.
- TreeSeekerExplorerSealing all the openings is the only permanent solution to the mouse problem. One tip to find the openings, is to wait until after dark and put all the lights on inside the RV and open all the cabinet doors (to let the light in), then climb around underneath looking for light leaks. You may have to add some additional temporary light inside the cabinets to find all the leaks.
To clarify, I am just referring to the cabinets attached to the floor. - tenbearExplorerWe have had mice in ours. I used spray foam in all the openings I could find and still had mice. Finally I realized that they were probably climbing up the power cord and getting in. I closed that and no mice now for 2 years. Maybe too soon to declare victory.
- OldRadiosExplorerFound signs a mouse has moved into the RV. Pulled a roll of paper towels out from under the sink and found one corner chewed off. Opened one of the kitchen drawers that the DW had put packets of condiments in last week and every one was chewed open and empty.
This means war...
We will fight using superior technology, chemical weapons, and our weapon of choice, the vintage spring trap.
We will most likely loose... - tenbearExplorerStarted getting ready for the season. Checked the battery, checked the tires and added air, ran the generator with a 1500w heater for 45 minutes, put batteries in various things and hooked up the showers. First trip will be in a couple of weeks.
- fltioga898ExplorerI replaced both the bath lavatory and tub/shower faucets in the born free . this was badly needed after 18 yrs. of service. Job was easier than i expected it would be. I caught a break for once.
- ronfishermanModeratorGot my Dometic fridge repaired. Got 10 year use before it died.
- gearhead143ExplorerPulled the cover off, and I was very happy to see there was no mold this year. The new ADCO cover worked great. Now to dewinterize and get ready for the first trip of the year in two weeks. Headed to Big Lava Lake Oregon for five days of fishing with my son and son in-law.
