- RambleOnNWExplorer IIAdded a ChargeWizard to our Progressive Dynamics PD9145 converter. Now getting the multi-mode charging. In the past I would unplug the RV after a few days of charging at the previous fixed 13.6V but now it will float at 13.2V after 30 hours of charging so no further need to unplug.
- Desert_CaptainExplorer IIIUpdated from earlier post to add the pic's:
Installed our new Swagman two bike rack. We leave in an hour or so for Kartchner Caverns which should be a good road/field test for the rack and bikes. My neighbor has a virtual machine shop in his garage and with his help we drilled two additional holes on the shaft that feeds into the 2" receiver. This allowed me to move the rack 6" closer to the coach reducing the overhang making the rack significantly stronger. I'll follow up with pictures when we return.
Just got back from Kartchner Caverns. Here are a couple of shots of the new bike rack:
The round silver head on the left is the Master Lock locking pin and just aft of that a half inch bolt that when torqued down eliminates any play in the rack receiver connection. This worked very well with both bikes riding securely but easy to access.
:C - bob_and_donnaExplorerto all that gave input ,thank you. they dealer put in a new chassis battery when we bought it. I would not think that a new battery would give me this kind of problem but you never know. I'm going to do more testing and see if I can figure out how it was wired from the factory. it should not kill the battery and then the on board charger charge it. got to clean the carb on the gen also. running rough.

- pianotunaNomad IIIRamped up the electric heat to 1440 watts.
- snowdanceExplorerGot home with it on the 12th. Nights are falling into the low teens for the next few days so yesterday we winterized it. Odds are we will use it a few more times this year but never know for sure.
- CalisdadExplorerChanged all 18+ quarts of fluid in my E350's E4OD transmission per Mark Kovalsky's step by step instructions: linky
10' of clear tube inserted into a 1/2" hole of a gallon jug and you can flush the system from the drivers seat.
I also changed the filter and added a drain plug to the pan for future services. - ronfishermanModeratorChanged oil, oil filter, fuel filter, and lubed chassis. Ready for the trip south in little over a week.
