- tenbearExplorerWashed it for the first time this season. Well, yesterday anyway.
- JesseJ1826ExplorerOne of the local RV dealers had a sale on Dometic toilets so I grabbed one and today it got installed. Easy peasy. The old Thetford worked OK but it was a "low rider" and the new one is at senior height. No more having to get help to get off the throne.
- mahaneyExplorerJust got back from 3 day test run with family at local rv park. Found water leak at connection for running on shore water, little teflon tape fixed it up. otherwise, for a 30 year old rig, she worked pretty good.
- OFDPOSExplorerAfter seeing a few post up replacing the outside light with one of those Smart Light 1000. I decided to order one off Amazon Friday night , came home Sunday (yesterday) and there the box was sitting by the front door.
So this afternoon decided to remove the old light and clean off the old sealant, buffed out the area then put on a couple coats of wax on.
And of coarse reading the directions it says fits most holes from original light.
NOPE , so I filled 3 of the holes and drilled 3 new ones.
Installed he light , tested it out and works good.
Waiting for it to get dark outside so I can see how the motion sensor works and if I need to adjust it any ?
Nice the sensors caught me pretty quick from both sides , neighbors sprinklers were on so I'll have to check coming straight on at it another night! - snowdanceExplorerWashed ours in the rain too. Ran the Gen, Filled the water tank. Loading and plan to leave tomorrow morning. Not sure were. Our plans are only to get to the freeway and then decide north or south. Who cares where, just so we are on the road. Its our 4th trip this year.
- OFDPOSExplorerWashing it right now as I'm typing this !
Its flat out pouring rain outside ;)
And we need it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ha had to say something 400th post :) - DrewEExplorer IIIThe post office delivered my new generator starter motor today, so I spent ten minutes this evening installing it and a couple hours hoisting the generator back up into its cradle and reconnecting everything to it. I couldn't test to see that it runs and generates (intentionally low fuel so I didn't siphon the tank onto my driveway in dropping it), but it turns over a whole lot more energetically with the new starter than it ever did with the old one (well, since I got it at least).
I'm glad to have that "little" job finished. (It is a little job if you ignore the accessibility difficulties!) - tenbearExplorerFinished packing and went on our first trip of the season, a campout with our local chapter of the Good Sam Club. Should be a good time.
- woodworker414ExplorerDeserCaptain, waiting for the phots.
Life is a trip, ENJOY the ride.
Safe Travels. - pianotunaNomad IIIClean the insides a bit, and got ready to move on to a different urbandocking location. It has been quite cold with temperatures at night going as low as -2 c (28 f).
