- jaycocreekExplorer III have always had Wave heaters in my Motorhomes/Fifth wheels/Trailers and campers but my currant Wave 8 is just to big to mount in my Class C where I want it so I have been using my big buddy heater..Works well but I have not plumbed it into the system yet.I use an external propane tank off my hitch haul when I use it camped and use the portable disposable tank for quick stops to warm up.Last about 6 hours on low on 1 one pound bottle..

Last week, I bought a Mr. Heater Big Buddy for girlfriend's Class C. We used it Saturday as we stayed over night via a Halloween party. Yes, we had both air vents cracked etc. :) It did a great job.
Just saw an ad for one of those $74.99 was wondering if they were good to have around.. Now if I can just remember where I saw the ad may pick one up...
Thanks for the plug on them... - Kit_CarsonExplorerToday I winterized my MH by blowing out the lines, putting anti-freeze in the traps, etc. While I was at it I organized my storage bays, organized and straightened the things in the cabinets. Wrapped the water pump with a couple of towels and also the outside shower. I do this for a little extra protection. Now, I am ready for spring. Happy winter everyone.
- NevadastarsExplorerSince the temps have dropped quick here, we winterized it our usual way, blowing out the lines with compressed air and pouring anti-freeze down the traps.

- aeejbeExplorer IIRetired the 30ft-30Amp shore power cord today - After 11 yrs of faithful service.
Replacement cord came from Amazon.com. They have the best price. - Mich_FExplorerToday my Itasca 31C came out of the warehouse that it has been sitting in since early June of 2014. I bought it (it needed a total cabover rebuild) and had it towed to the warehouse, almost seventeen months ago. I drove it for the first time and was quite pleased with how smooth and quiet it was at speeds up to 75MPH. Now I just have to sell it. :B

- jaycocreekExplorer IIWas ready to head to the hills for some stealhead fishing last week and the refer started freezing everything in the lower compartment.Okay, new thermistor right, well it semi worked but propane would not ignite then and it did before..Okay,new board..Yay,Everything works better than before now but what a pain and delay it was and especially in cooler weather where the refer is less than cooperative.
This was a good learning experience having only replaced a cooling unit in the past. - SqdancecallerExplorerPut in some of our summer clothes that we want to take to Florida with us now that cooler weather has hit us. Trying to get a jump on the loading process. The countdown has started... only 64 more days till departure!!!!
