- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
I started a week long trip that will take me 2400 kilometers in below freezing temperatures. - sonicsixExplorerInstalled a pair of 100 watt solar panels on the roof and the associated electronics to hook it all up. Also added a water hammer arrestor to solve that annoying thunk when we released the foot pedal on the toilet.

- rgrcpaExplorerPicked it up from the repair shop after having a bunch of routine maintenance done: Reseal roof, recaulk the area between the cab and the coach, replace water pump, replace drawer runners, replace door weatherstripping, and clean bedroom fan.
Discussed leaving it with the dealer on consignment but the sale guy put too low a price on it. He was using NADA's lending value on it as if he were selling it off the lot and financing it. No way, Jose. I will list it myself in RV Trader.
So, now I will go through my photos of the RV and select those to post online as I try to sell it.
Next, I gotta winterize it. - Mile-High-EndurExplorer

Sorry to hear you had to move to Texas.:W
No state income tax in Texas.
I'll probably have the windows tinted again soon. We just retired and are fulltiming now. It's 8pm and 73 degrees outside right now.

I brought it home to prepare for a winter trip. I'll be doing some cold weather tests as well. - elwood58ExplorerToo rainy today to work on the CB Radio antenna, so I mounted a 1 gallon pancake compressor in my storage compartment. I have 110v right above in my entertainment center. Added a 50 foot hose. No more waiting a half hour for the little 12v vibrator engine to try and air things up.
It will not run power tools with such a small reserve, but great for tires and toys. - elwood58ExplorerWe are parked in our Kid's yard for the Thanksgiving Holiday, so I decided to work on a few little projects.
Rear View Camera - I bought a very inexpensive wireless system at Walmart. It is only good up to 20 feet, but works OK with our 26. No night vision, but that is not when I would typically use it anyway. Very small 2.5" screen, but gets the job done. For under a hundred dollars, I figured it was worth playing around with anyway.
CB Radio - With the trip up featuring multiple car accidents, a trucker who lost an exhaust stack, and numerous other road hazards, I figured it was time to put a CB Radio in the rig. I bought an antenna designed for use with Fiberglass vehicles, and will mount it on the side of the Cab Over.
