- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Got the first "read outs" from my new hall effect ammeter for alternator charging! - pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Started planning a trip that will loop from Saskatoon, SK to Leader, SK and back to Regina. - W4MBGExploreri moved it, tried to jack it up to change a tire, gave up, and put it back. it felt way too heavy for the floor jack. i figure the inspection guys have to remove some tires anyway, so they can put on a different one when they are done.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Had my storage rack delivered to where I'm having some repairs done. - Rich_PanganibanExplorerGave the RV a good bath from head to toe...so shiny!
- Navy_SmokerExplorerCleaned it inside and out after last week's trip. Fileld it with gas and got it ready to go on the next trip. My wife and I target to be ready to leave within 4 hours of deciding we're bored at home.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Planned a trip which may include some boondocking! It will be a good test of my revamped generator. - ReplantExplorer

Yesterday used sawzall to cut rear bumper off , cleaned it up with angle grinder :)
This afternoon son welded on new one :)
Next project is PVC crapper hose storage !!!
I sawed mine off also but intended to leave the bottom and rear to use as "L" brackets to hold the 5"x5" PVC fence post and end caps that I bought at Home Depot. However when I got the job underway this is what I ended up with:
That rusty mess on the ground is the bottom of the bumper. All that was usable were small vertical sections. To these I mounted PVC "L" brackets that I made from the remainder of the fence post that I cut down.
From Lowe's I bought a 4" wide rain gutter to serve as a hose tray that easily slides in and out of the 5"x5" bumper. It comes in 10' lengths but I use the remainder as a tool tray when working on the RV. I made handles for the gutter out of 3/4" PVC pipe with a cap on each end and used aluminum rivets to fasten them to the ends of the hose tray. Everything is now rust proof. That glob you see at the end of the tray is dead grass or something on the ground not on the tray.
- Duckaholic1ExplorerToday I sanitized fw tank, drained & flushed water heater, cleaned flue on refrig, replaced 2 marker lenses & 1 marker light, ran gen till it shut off due to low fuel..(ooops!!),checked house battery(will be buying new one tomorrow!!) Heading up to Trinity next week!!! Woohoo!!!:C
- kthomas693ExplorerTook her and gassed her up today. Paid 3.23pg. Also let the gennie run about 10mins.
I got some behind the wheel time- in an abandoned parking lot with curbs and hedges and low hanging trees in spots. Did a mock "back in to a campsite"- did fairly well and we did not exchange any choice words like we sometimes do- also drove around this area but all on residential streets- few more practice runs and I will be ready for the highways.
Everytime I get in it I bust at the seams-- I am so happy and we just love it...
