- rgatijnet1Explorer IIIWithin the last three months I saw a brand new, untitled, 2200 total miles, 2010 coach for sale on eBay.
Most coaches like this will come with a full warranty, BUT they have been exposed to the elements all of this time.
Obviously the price will be very attractive BUT you may have to replace all of the tires, belts, etc before it would become a reliable coach. - dverstraExplorer

So true...
If you wait through enough cycles, any rig out there can be purchased for less than a dollar. - DSDP_DonExplorerA lot of them end up in Quartzsite for sale each year.
- robsouthExplorer IIThis explains why I have seen things like: "Was $379,995, now $225,900." They will sell to somebody at some price at some time.
- chuckftboyExplorerI live in Florida, Most dealers are very large and seem to move a lot of units but we still see "Inventory Reduction Sales" on a regular bases.
- old_guyExplorerbelieve me there is a Hugh mark up in these RV's they have plenty of room to play with. selling at a few thousand over invoice is one way they get rid of them and still make 2000 dollars

This encourages manufacturers to load dealers with inventory to the extent they will take it. As someone else already noted, sometimes you can find two or even three year old "unsold" MHs sitting on dealer lots. If you like the model you can get some good buys.
- StefoniusExplorerMy understanding is that manufacturers allot each dealer a certain number of new units, and that they subtract one from the allotment for each unsold unit left over from the previous model year. This (if true) motivates the dealer to get rid of unsold units before the new models come out. We got a fantastic deal on a unit that was brand new, but just about to turn two years old.
