Reserve capacity is for starting batteries and has nothing to do with the number of deep cycles a battery can withstand!
I've had bad luck with the AGM batteries. Also, their reserve capacity is way lower than a lead acid battery.
I think you're confusing Cold Cranking Amps and reserve capacity.
The batteries (acid) I bought have 180 minutes reserve capacity each. - Fifty4F100Explorer

Samsclub.com doesn't show any golf cart batteries. - Passin_ThruExplorerI agree with the Costco batteries. They usually last 4-5 years.

I did too . . . in a way.
I bought 4 Lifeline AGMs and about a year later one of them developed a leak around one of the terminals.
When I told Lifeline they replaced ALL FOUR of AGMs for free.
So I'm sticking with Lifeline AGMs. - wny_pat1ExplorerValve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA):

I've had bad luck with the AGM batteries. Also, their reserve capacity is way lower than a lead acid battery. - RayChezExplorerI never have really had problem with wet batteries until they have hit around the five year mark. Then you can tell they are starting to go bad because that is when your batteries are requiring more charging then usual and the distilled water starts to vaporize with the over charging. But will the batteries are in good condition they hardly use any water.
This last set that I just changed were ruined at a shop I took my coach for some work that had to be touched up. I left the coach there for about a week and somebody accidentally pushed the compartment lights switch witch are on the dash by the entrance to the coach and the lights stayed on for the whole week with out any charging. The batteries could never pick up a good charge anymore after that. But if that wouldn't have happened those batteries would have probably lasted longer then five years. But that is OK with me IF I can get five years out golf cart batteries, I am satisfied. - JanTxExplorerbut if your batteries are in a unhandy place,,for filling,,, that's why the man wanted agm batteries..?
