I also put a Max Air I on our Fantastic Fan as well as the other two vents. No complaints here. They do what they are supposed to do. - RollnhomeExplorerI use Fantastic Fan vent covers. They were designed by Fantastic Fan to be used with their product and give more air flow than other covers (their claim). VERY easy to install.

- summerhouseExplorerWe have Maxxair II also. They work great, I've never thought I had insufficient air quantity. We put them on our previous Class C too.
- in5rExplorerthe maxxair fan/mate has been my choice for my current and prior camper.

Ron's description is spot-on. A little less flow than some at full fan, full opening, but more than adequate for many of us. The pic shows how it has vents around the corners, not just in the middle of the back.
I checked with a couple RV shops, and they said that's what they install most of the time.
On the side of the vent, you can see the hinge barrels that allow the vent to be swung open for cleaning with no need for tools. These mounts are an option on original MaXXair, but standard on MaXXair II.
Completely satisfied with ours. We have one on each of our two Fantastic Fans. - ronfishermanModeratorI have Maxxair II on my Fantastic fans. Much better than the standard Maxxair. But they do not let as much air pass a vent without a cover. I only run our fan son the 1 or 2 setting. This allows enough air movement in our motorhome to keep it comfortable until AC is needed.
