What is the most stressful part of driving your coach?

For me, it's merging into traffic on limited access highways. I normally like to blend seamlessly into traffic when I drive my car, but with my 60,000 pounds, I can rarely get my coach up to speed and the gaps between traffic can be very small, indeed.

I especially worry about short on ramps, clover leafs, and uphill on ramps and my stresses are compounded when the shoulder disappears immediately after the merge because of a bridge or some other structure.

Overall, I love driving my coach, but this stresses me a bit. What is the most stressful part of driving your coach for you?

  • The noise I hear coming from the passenger seat cause me the most stress. My gas coach is so quiet I can still hear the noise. :B

Seriously, if you have problems merging in to traffic try to check out your exits before you have to use them. Using a satellite view may help you avoid the ones that are just not suitable for your coach.
Other than that, all you can do is use your turn signal and accelerate as fast as possible. You may want to have your engine checked to see if the turbo boost is working and if it is, just do your best. Remember, YOU have to yield to traffic so be careful.
