Since you are tairler wise, for a c you need to apply the same basic thoughts as for the trailer. The floor plan you want, although many limit you to similar fp's. Storage for most c's is an issue as they do not generally have a lot. some of the longer ones may but the main 24-28's are pretty limited. Our B+ winnebago has decent but not a whole lot. mainly some drawers under the sink, a couple slide out under the dinette be overhead storage in rear along with 3 small closets, a small pantry area and a similar size in the bath room. The over head beds in conventional c's offer extra space but they also add to some problems and may offer some issues with fuel mileage due to being a square brick up front. So yes they are something to really look at. Some outside storage bays are pretty small, some offer a large trunk area but they are behind the rear axle and they may also cause some issues just like overloading the rear of a trailer. We looked at quite a few before our purchase and all exhibited some issues relating to storage. Wife liked a jayco with the bunk beds in a slide at rear, dont know if still available or not. Also she liked the melbourne from a few years ago. I did too for the cab area (elec seats etc) So basically its a search to find what you think will be adequate for your needs.
