What would be running ( fan?) under shower area

Question

Have a 2002 Winnebago Minnie Winnie.
I have looked over all the manuals and cannot find out what the vent under the shower is for? It looks like an air return but am not sure. I can often hear what sounds like a fan running. ( heat is not on and water heater is under the sink in the kitchen)

Your Converter (the device that converts 120V AC power to 12V DC power and charges your battery) has an internal fan that can kick on.  It's most likely that.

Agree with sch911, but under the shower seems like a strange place for a converter, unless that vent is just a fresh air intake. :h

I have a furnace vent under my shower. Of course, it only makes noise when the furnace is running.

I have a furnace vent under the raised floor of my shower pan also. As near as I can tell its just a access panel so I can get at the trap to drain it or clean it out for winter storage. Converter is probably close-as in under the bed-so that's what you are hearing.
