- jamesk1ExplorerI have a furnace vent under the raised floor of my shower pan also. As near as I can tell its just a access panel so I can get at the trap to drain it or clean it out for winter storage. Converter is probably close-as in under the bed-so that's what you are hearing.

- sch911ExplorerYour Converter (the device that converts 120V AC power to 12V DC power and charges your battery) has an internal fan that can kick on. It's most likely that.
