What would be running ( fan?) under shower area

Have a 2002 Winnebago Minnie Winnie.
I have looked over all the manuals and cannot find out what the vent under the shower is for? It looks like an air return but am not sure. I can often hear what sounds like a fan running. ( heat is not on and water heater is under the sink in the kitchen)
  • I have a furnace vent under the raised floor of my shower pan also. As near as I can tell its just a access panel so I can get at the trap to drain it or clean it out for winter storage. Converter is probably close-as in under the bed-so that's what you are hearing.
  • I have a furnace vent under my shower. Of course, it only makes noise when the furnace is running.

Agree with sch911, but under the shower seems like a strange place for a converter, unless that vent is just a fresh air intake. :h
  • Your Converter (the device that converts 120V AC power to 12V DC power and charges your battery) has an internal fan that can kick on. It's most likely that.
