Yeah , they have made a few. Unusual base to start with and it is 4x4, like Sportsmobile
Normal HiAce Capervan conversion , the cupboards etc swing out of the way - BumpyroadExplorer

Personally, I would never purchase any B or small class C which blocks access to the living area from the driver's or passenger seats as the Autarky with the rear slide does.
a good point which I missed but I guess when you have so little wall space, a compromise was necessary????????

This is a new Company, that produces some very unusual Motorhomes. The one based on a Toyota HiAce,others are on fairly heavy Toyota and IVECO Trucks
Toyota 4x4 Off Road " Autarky" Motorhome. Basically a Class B with a rear slideouts - mumkinExplorerThat floorplan would work great for single travelers. They would have to flip it around to work with our system.
I like it... - mlts22Explorer III have liked the all glass look since I looked an Airstream Interstate.
However, it is a decision on form versus function. Here in Texas, if I were using electric heat at a CG, the smooth look of the windows is great. If I were parked somewhere colder where the only thing that would be heating my rig is stuff I hauled in, I'd go for the uglier, but far more insulating dual-pane windows. - wincrasher65ExplorerOnce you've seen the all glass sides in vans like the new Pleasureway Luxor, it's hard to get excited about other kinds of windows (practical or not). I like the all-glass look.
Some vans in Europe have an access door for the cassette and some are an access panel in a bulkhead inside the door opening (if that makes sense). Having the loo open to the great outdoors just seems kinda weird, although it saves the weight and complication of puting a bulkhead there. I wonder if the kitchen side even opens so you could load groceries thru that space? - mlts22Explorer III love the Dometic/Hehr windows, as they are double-paned. The cassette toilets are decent, but that is another discussion entirely. When looking at a custom SMB build, I thought of a cassette toilet, but because of how I travel, I'd rather just use a black tank and dump with a macerator pump.
