Any antenna will pick up the digital signal. There is no such thing as a "digital antenna."
You need the converter box to work with your old analog TV. If you switch out the TV for a new version, you won't need the converter box. And any antenna will work with it.
The exact antenna you need will depend on the range you need to pick up and if you need it to be directional.
