I haven't been able to find the brochure online that describes grey (or gray) water handling. If/when I do, I will post it.
You WILL get a ticket for dumping your waste water on the ground in Montana, if the authorities catch you at it!
Yes, there IS a big difference between a tent camper throwing a wash basin of soapy water into the brush, and draining a 40 gallon waste tank onto the ground!
The bulletin board at USDA/USFS campgrounds flatly states that RV waste must NOT be dumped into the vault toilets. Again, there is a big difference between relieving yourself once or twice a day and dumping 20 to 40 gallons of waste into the toilet! The pump-out is on a schedule, and they don't want the vault filled up too soon! Remember, these are SEALED VAULT toilets, not self-draining pit toilets!
