Since you have a Gas Motorhome The truck stop diesel lanes dont apply. Good news is you can use any gas station you can fit! No station will refuse to sell you 80 gallons! Your credit card transaction on "pay at the pump" may be limited however to a certain amount for the stations and card concern over stolen cards. Almost all cards will generally allow you Two transactions (swipe once fill and swipe again to finish) the Third time may not be approved ,so just use a second card.You can also go in and prepay/ authorize using a card or cash.
In my opinion not filling up unless traveling is not a good practice. your tank should be full while sitting to lessen moisture accumulation in the tank. Like many others we try to fill up near the end of the day before setting up.Since i use diesel my station choices are different but using a easy access busy station lessens the bad gas concern. Being in the trucking business and knowing a few drivers, all gas comes from the same refinery tanks so I don't really care about the" brand"

Two Apps you should have are "GasBuddy" and "iExit". We have about 50ft. on the road when towing the 5'vr-I generally look for truck stops--there are no height issues, usually plenty of room to maneuver and a good restaurant.

I use truck stops wherever possible because I hate having to wait while a small hose fills my tank. Just remember that if you use truck stops, observe protocol and as soon as you finish pumping, pull up like the trucks do so the next guy can start fueling. There isn't a $ limit in truck lanes. I use Pilot/Flying J because I have a frequent fuel card allowing me to start the pump without having to go inside. After fueling, I pull up and then go inside to pay. Occasionally, I get behind RVers who don't respect that protocol and it is irritating. I understand how the professional drivers feel when RVers do that. Please pull forward as soon as you are finished fueling.
As for Sam's. When I leave home, I top off at a Sam's club in Vacaville, and when returning, I always fill up there. Yes, they have a max of $100, but I restart the the pump again. I don't like it only because it is an auto pump, and it is slow fueling. It is the closest to home, so I use it.

If the pump stops at say $75.00, all you need to do is put pump nozzle back, print your receipt and start a new transaction. It will go until you stop it or another $75. You can also go inside and pre-pay for say $150.00 of gas and if you are full at $120.00, the credit is immediately returned to your card (if it's a debit card I know for sure). We have done this many times and if I look at the account 5 minutes later that credit has been redeposited already.

We use gas buddy and fill and most regular gas stations. We are 36' pulling a trailer with motorcycles, so about 45' total and have no problem finding stations we can use. We use google earth and take a look when we find the cheaper gas price (on our route) to make sure we can fit first.

GasBuddy is my friend... it probably saved me $300 on 1000 gallons of fuel last summer. Since the OP has a gas rig... any place that is 25 cents less than Pilot/FlyJ.

Not filling up may lead to condensation in the tank. Water in fuel is not good.

If I'm going to be storing the RV (mine is gas) I do the last two fill ups with premium. Where I live premium has no ethanol in it.

If I am traveling the last item of the day is to fill the tank. That way I can pull up stakes and get down the road in a timely manner. I often stop for breakfast after the first hour. I try to take short breaks on an hourly basis.

Our coach is diesel and I like to use Independent truck stops when possible. I avoid the big name truck stops. Look here for Independent truck stops

I always use and recommend Sam's for diesel as they're usually 20 cents cheaper. I always stay away from the truck stops as they're way to expensive.

Last month we drove our 40 ft DP, with toad, from Phoenix to the east coast mostly on highway 10. Loves was always 25 to 35 cents per gal more expenzive. When you're taking 100 gal or fill up that begins to add up - sort of a free dinner each night.

I usually seek out Sams or Costco as they usually have the lowest price. As noted, anywhere, you may have to do two transactions to fill the tank. Generally, I just try to find a station with easy access.

I also try to look at Google maps satellite view ahead of time to see the layout of the gas station.
