Where is Air Chuck on 2002Gulfstream Scenic Cruiser 8404?

I'm upgrading to this model and neither myself or the dealer's tech can find it.

If there isn't one, any recommendations for an air compressor that will do a good job inflating Class A tires?

Thanks a bunch!

Eric
  • I don't have a Gulfstream, but my air hose is tied into the air plumbing in the fuel compartment. You can do the same on yours if you have a diesel with air brakes.

    Well Eric,
You and a tech have done a pretty thorough search, than it's quite possible that there is none. I'm certainly no expert but, as I understand it, not all diesel rigs came with one. Our '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the C-7 330 HP CAT, is on a Freightliner chassis and it is equipped with a chuck, an air gauge, an "on-off" valve and, a 50' section of hose. On ours, it's located in the generator compartment, right up front. You have to open the access door for the generator and, it's on the left side, as you look at the front of the coach.

Some of the Freightliner units had it on the right side. I cannot tell you where exactly to have one installed if, you don't find one on your coach. What's the chassis?
