- govertimeExplorerFor a new holding tank, you'll need measuremetns. Then just google "holding tank rv" and find something that fits.
If you currently have a tank and it is broken it might be able to be fixed if you're up to it. - HandbasketExplorerFinding an OEM black water (toilet) tank would be a matter of extreme luck. I suspect you'll need to take measurements for the space for the tank. Then see if you can find a blank (not pierced for connections) tank, and fit it to your needs. I suspect that an internet search for 'RV tank molders' will turn up some sources.
It's probably far simpler and cheaper to substitute a portapotty for the original toilet, and accept the need to empty it more often.
Jim, "Red meat isn't bad for you. Green fuzzy meat is bad for you." - govertimeExplorerLooks like for Dodge '77 (B100, B200, B300), CR4C is a replacement OEM tank. I doubt Xplorer modified the gas tank. I suppose you could pull the one you got now and see if it looks the same.
BTW, you need to determine your base model (B100, B200, B300) and seperate out Vehicle parts (in this case the gas tank) from RV parts added/modified later to the base model by Xplorer (holding tank).
For vehicle parts, a good place to start is rockauto.com. Even if you don't buy from there, they're pretty good for looking up part numbers. - dbblsExplorerGoogle "RV salvage". Colaws in Missouri is a good one.
- Brodie3AzExplorerIf the gas tank was a special configuration for your camper, check out your local metal fabrication shops to see about a custom metal tank.

Hello everyone, I have a 1977 Dodge Xplorer and I'm having a really hard time finding parts for it. Does anyone know how to locate parts for these older models? I need a holding tank for the toilet (gray water?) and a gas tank. Thanks for any info you can provide. - AK49erExplorerThe gas tank could come from a wrecking yard or maybe try your nearest parts store for help. As far as your holding tank goes, is it plastic? There are shops out there that can weld plastic, call your nearest welding shop for advise.
