Which Dicor Lap Sealant?

Time to re-seal the roof.....I was getting ready to order some Dicor self-leveling sealant and noticed that there are a few different choices.

My roof is fiberglass, and I need to re-seal the end-cap seams, around A/Cs, vent pipes and other places on the roof.

Will also be re-sealing joints and seals on the sides of the coach...any suggestions on what to use there?
  • Do yourself a favor on the roof. Remove as much of the existing sealant as possible, clean the areas with acetone, then apply Eternabond tape. You will never have to fool with the roof again... at least not for many, many years.

For side seams, roof-to-sidewall seams, Geocel Proflex sealant is great. Comes in clear, white and off white.
  • Dicor 502-LSW Self Leveling Sealant. For best results, remover all the old sealant. That is not an easy job. You may need some plastic putty knives if you don't want to scratch the fiberglass. Surface needs to very clean to insure adhesion. Follow directions on the tube.
