We bought a telescoping ramp from Petsmart for our aging Golden with bad hips and metal plates in her back legs but was a little flimsy and thin carpet surface slick. She used it but did not really like to.
Bought a much better folding ramp from Petstep. much more stable and not slick at all. She used it with no problem until passing. Now our newest rescue Golden uses it to reduce stress on her hips and legs.
