We've been through several large geriatric dogs and have tried the ramp that DogFolks referred to. It is well built and strong, but I found constantly setting up and taking down the ramp became cumbersome. Every time people left the MH the ramp had to be moved then set up for the dogs.
I eventually developed the technique of giving them a boost with a hand between the rear legs going up (the male required some training, the females were fine) then going down I used a towel sling around the belly.
Whatever works for you, just giving another option.
