Wouldn't go that far and especially with the kind of run we made this summer touring the country, but would bet my money that you'd get away with it. In fact, I remember a guy who said he did just that with never changing the oil and I believe he was driving a Ford Torino at the time.
As for the coach we have now, we bought it with 46K miles in 07 and now have approx. 86K. It's never skipped a beat, knock on wood and except for making a trip like I just described, I change the oil once a year, whether is needs it or not.
