Insurance doesn't go by length but uses value for pricing. My 38' Newmar insurance is very close to my '95 Roadtrek of 19' because of value. In Michigan I can take most of the insurance off when it is stored. I only leave on the comprehensive when stored so it is covered in case of fire or theft. That saves a lot with my insurance co. You do have to shop for insurance to get a good price.
