Which truck signs do I need to worry about?

Sometimes I think I should pay attention to the truck signs and other times, I'm not sure. How do you handle these signs?

No Thru Trucks
No Trucks Left Lane or Trucks Right Two Lanes Only
No Trucks between 7PM and 7AM
No Truck Parking
Truck Parking Only
No Trucks in Express Lane
Trucks Use Low Gear
All Trucks pull over for Inspection Station

Did I miss any?

  • Well almost correct. How about "trucks right lane only"? Most is common sense stuff. Or "no trucks over 26,000". You won't miss the important ones.
  • I think the only that applies to RV is
    "Truck parking only"
Those are design as trucks rest/checking areas and even when stopping motorhome there might not give you a ticket, you might get unpleasant faces.
You still should consider some truck warning signs. They might or might not make your life easier.
  • Holstein, you have to abide by them ALL...if you're driving a truck...otherwise they say nothing about an RV. That said, there are some signs that apply to YOU as well. The ones that say "Nothing, three axles or more" or "All vehicles 55mph when towing"...Dennis
  • Only two I concern myself with....Inspection or weight station.....Just wave as I pass them...
Trucks Use Low Gear.....I engage my engine break....

    That's about it...
  • Truck rules do not apply to RVs. However they ae good guidance to avoid congestion and narrow or low routes.
