Who Performs the Oil Changes on Your C

My Class C is built on the Ford E350 SD DRW chassis with the 6.8L V10 power plant. My first oil change is approaching both in time (6 months) & mileage (5,000 miles) and I'm wondering where you tak...

I do my own oil changes. I use Mobil-One Full Synthetic 5W-20 oil and Ford Motorcraft oil filters. Both sold at Walmart, reasonably priced.

One thing I do that most people probably don't. I place a very strong magnet outside on the bottom of the oil filter to capture all floating metal particles inside the filter. I place a second one on the transmission pan.

I use magnets from old computer hard drives, the strongest I found.
