I do the Tiger in the driveway, Castrol synthetic & GM filter. Being on a Chevy 4x4 Silverado chassis, it has grease fittings all over the steering and suspension, and I don't trust a shop to find all of them or get to the one awkward one. They get lubed every oil change.
I also check the diffs and transfer case. The gentle slope of my side drive and the ramps I use work out to equal nearly level. But it does mean a tippy-toe reach to get to the oil fill and dipstick. The only gripe I have is the location of the oil filter on the 8.1; it's right over the front drive u-joint, and is impossible to get out without spilling some hot dirty oil down your arm.
