While we are talking changing oil here is a nifty gizmo many of the Benz folks are using. With 13 quarts of oil to drain in the Benz motor it makes it nice to be able to stop the flow if needed.
I would only use one of these if your oil drain is in a relatively protected area as impacting it could be bad. The valve is very secure when closed.
