I guy I know who lives in California bought a RV and picked in Nevada. I forgot just why he did this, but he saved money doing it. I believe it was a new rig. What is the advantage, lower taxes, lower prices, less smog?
AZ friend did the same, picked up in AZ. CA taxes are way too high. My friend payed the dealer $300 to drive his new RV to the AZ border and saved $1200 by not paying CA taxes.
