I don't think you can boost a wifi signal? would it not have to be the actual source that sets the signal strength?
I know little about such but understood theses device just are able to pick up a signal from a greater distance than your situated in

There is an external antenna that mounts on your RV. A good rule of thumb is the higher the better for these things. Also, there are some blogs that cover this. Another product is presented by "We're the Russos" http://weretherussos.com/extend-wifi-range-wifi-booster-repeater/

You may need to look at an antenna/amplifier setup. Personally, I would not spend any money to pick up an unsecured campground wi-fi network - it's just not worth the risk from a security point of view.

Most public WiFi networks separate all traffic via a VLAN, that way nobody sees anybody. Have setup up a few public Wifi networks and security has never been an issue.
As far as the OP, the problem is your RV reflects the signal, so you do not so much need an amplifier, but an antenna on the outside to pickup the signal and bring it inside. Depending on what you use on the inside would determine what you need. - ChooChooMan74ExplorerGood luck!! WiFi at parks sucks. Too many people using what little bandwidth they have. I do have a setup on my trailer, but it is pretty complicated for most people. I have a WiFi transceiver on the roof, that passes the data down to a mini router in the camper, that is just powerful enough to use around the camper.

Can anyone recommend and wi-fi antenna that will pull in the signal in a camp ground. I have tried and Alfa marine antenna and that did not work at all.
Thanks, Bob
remember it also depends on how far from the hotspot you are and the signal strength their transmitting and number of people all on at the same time!!
here is a interesting link on what u asked just copy and paste
