its actually worse than that now that I think of it. The Honeywell I have is WiFi enabled, but it needs to talk to the Honeywell server in order to function at all. So in a CG it might be interesting to attempt to get it to talk to the local WiFi unless you haul along a hotspot with the thermostat pointed at that. I'm sure there are other issues to pop up too.
