Will a Common Size Freezer Hold a Frozen Pizza?

Wondering if the common size freezer that's in most C's will hold a frozen pizza box. From the looks of photos the freezers are rather small.

I did tour a couple C's at a local dealer but didn't pay attention to the size of the freezer.

Thanks.

You have your priorities in order, will a frozen pizza fit in a RV freezer?
The next logical question should be: How much beer will a RV refrigerator hold? :B
  • To save freezer space we take ALL frozen foods out of their boxes and save the cooking instructions.

You will be surprised at how much food just a box takes up.
  • Thanks for the replies everyone. I kinda figured I might have to break them up. BTW, if you can get Screamin' Sicilian brand where you live they're awesome.

  • We would talk just about all of the frozen foods out of their boxes, tear off the cooking instructions and store them, then put the frozen foods in bags in the freezer. You can store a bunch more that way. The boxes waste a lot of space as they are usually designed for shelf identification in the stores.
  • After taking out the door shelf off, they were useless, I could fit one of these in there on the top shelf. Dometic RM 2652
  • LOL - which size pizza? They come in all shapes and sizes these days.

No matter what you can always re-size your favorite to fit anything.
  • Depends on the size of your fridge and freezer, but we've had 5 various TT's and now the fifth wheel, and I've had to take the pizza out of the box. I just cut the baking instructions out and store them elsewhere. We usually take a frozen one for our first dinner or lunch to eat after we get all setup, because it's easy and goes down well with a beer. For other nights, we make our own in a dutch oven. Those Papa Murphy Family size don't fit though and are tight in the fridge.
  • We take the pizza and cut it down to pieces that will fit and then put those in a ziploc bag or foodsaver vacuum seal bag. Be sure to write down or cutout the cooking instructions.

Lately, we've been making our own pizza using the BBQ grill. It's really easy and almost as fast as heating up a frozen pizza. It tastes a lot better. Lots of recipes and instruction on line for BBQ gril pizza.
