- Dutch_12078Explorer IIIOur Coachmen has two fabric and Velcro tie-backs at each side. One is about 1/2 way down from the top, and the other about 3/4 of the way down. We do run with the windows open in moderate weather at times, and have never had a problem with the curtains blowing around. Our curtains do have curtain weights sewn into the bottom hems.
- Mr_Mark1ExplorerI like to drive with my driver's window open if the weather is nice. Even though we have velcro tiebacks, the bottom of the curtain will want to go to the screen. So, I have a big rubber-band that I wrap around the bottom of the pleated gathered curtain and it stays put.
MM. - sowegoExplorerWe also have a windshield curtain and even with the tie strap wrapped around and snapped it can be drawn into the window...The easiest & quickest fix we wrap a large rubber band around the curtain bundle near the bottom. It may still get pulled towards the open window screen but should not be in the way. A more permanent fix is to install a second strap lower to the bottom edge of the curtain in the same manner the middle strap is installed.

Mine came like this also.
Our curtains have a piece of matching fabric with velcro that is a tie back. We don't have a problem, but those pieces are about 5" top to bottom and do fasten fairly tightly around the curtains. Maybe something wider would help. - doxiemom11Explorer IIOur curtains have a piece of matching fabric with velcro that is a tie back. - AFChapExplorerX2 ... Velcro straps around the bottom.
- donhoward49ExplorerX 2 on the bungy cords. I had the passenger side curtain slide forward as I was driving alone, it blocked my mirror. I now use small bungy cords to secure them
- liberty2010Explorerwe use some drapery hold backs and a ponytail 'bungy'. Keeps it all in place.
