windshield wiper arms keep breaking

Question

hey guys I have a 2008 fourwinds hurricane class a I purchased the rv in 2009 brand new and after the first year one of the windshield wiper arms broke. I called tru vision and replaced the arm myself. well then about a year later the second arm broke. I figured it was fault cause I was to hard on the first set of arms when washing. well we were driving the rv to Davis mountains this week and another arm broke off. each wiper arm is a double post.. any ideas what I should do? thanks for any advice

Could you clarify where it is the arms are breaking?I was thinking that the arm might be something that could be brazed or welded.

they all break about one to two inches from the bolts

Sounds like a design flaw....probably should order two and keep a spare handy.

Had a similar issue so I switched from 32" wiper blades to 28" and that solved my problem. The 28's still clear the windshield fine.

Try a different brand some brands are inferior to others in quality.
