Windshield wipers

Question

On trip home from SPI I turned on windshield wipers and they wouldn't turn off. Ran at a moderate speed only and subsequently turned themselves off. At one juncture, I disconnected them.

This is on a 2008 Newmar Canyon Star.

Suggestions?

Time to switch switches.....Or clean the contacts.

Bad switch, shorted wire, possibly a defective wiper motor (specifically, the parking mechanism/switch).  I'd guess the switch first; however that's only a guess.

I had the exact same thing happen. The wiper relay was stuck. Fortunately, it was exactly the same as the horn relay so I "borrowed" that and lived without a horn until I got a new relay. $10 repair.
