Winnebago 3 year Warrenty on diesel pushers

Just announced this is huge

This program extends the warranty on our diesel pusher lineup — all built on Freightliner chassis — to an industry-leading 3 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Winnebago has always stood behind its products, and for anyone who is concerned about service, this program clearly demonstrates the confidence we have in our diesel pusher lineup!

  • They don't even honor their 1 year warranty. You couldn't give me a Winnie at their current quality output.

Yeah, yeah, yeah I know your Winnie has been awesome. I could line up a whole bunch of current Winnie owners who were screwed over by WB.
  • Is this Chassis or TOTAL motorhome? Newmar beat then by 18 years if Coach(house 3 years) warranty. 1999 ALL Newmar's had a 3 year 36k warranty on the Coach(house). Then in 2001 it went to 3 years 50k on the coach)house. When the Thor Mandalay came out in mid 2005 or so, they had a 3 year warranty on the coach(house). BOTH dropped the warranty a few years later when they realized they were losing big money on the long warranty. BOTH expected other OEM's to step up and match their 3 year warranty. Doug
PS, could not find any mention from Winne on this new warranty.
  • Surprized they don't make it 10 yrs. and 500,000 miles. Can't get a dealer to work on it so the warranty is useless anyway.
  • I assume that is the standard warranty? I think they know most RVers will hit the 3 years long before the 100K. My motorhome is 13 years old now and I haven't hit the 100k mark yet. But my Cat Diesel Engine on the Freightliner chassis keeps purring along and has never had one single problem. I paid several thousand for an extended warranty when I bought my RV and didn't use it for one single thing.
  • Awesome!

Now that they got rid of these silly Itasca's I guess they can do that :B

    Just kidding, love our Itasca
