The problem with bad designs is that many manufacturers just will not accept the fact that it was a bad design. They are still selling RV's so no need to change as long as it stays on during the warranty period. After the warranty, it is not our problem. I'm sure that it is not part of the sales pitch to tell potential buyers that if they do not regularly check their roof, they may lose it.
Other manufacturers use a fiberglass roof and because of a better engineering, they do not have their roofs peeling back.
