Winnebago Adventurer 38Q

We have a 2015 adventurer 38Q and the interior is the same as the 2016 models. This is an awesome motorhome and is about as close as you can get to a DP in a gas motorhome. It is very roomy in the kitchen and living area. The bedroom opens up very nice with the fold up bed. The residential refrigerator and washer and dryer are really great features. We really like ours. It is on the 26,000 pound chassis, and it rides and handles fairly well.

Thanks. My Sightseer has the power bed as well. We have a king and would prefer a Queen just to have the larger side tables and a bit more room. Which do you have? Do you use the slide and glide table in multiple positions. Have you added any suspension enhancements? I appreciate your comments.

We have the Queen size bed, and are happy with it. A king size bed would be to big for that room.We have used the slide and glide in different positions, it is very easy to move around. I was at the Winnebago rally in Forest City this past week and while there I had the OEM Bilstein shocks replaced with the aftermarket Bilstein shocks. Very noticeable ride improvement. The only other changes I plan to make is to add a Steer Safe Plus, and will do the CHF. I dont see a need to do anything else at this time.

No driver's door in the 2016 38Q. Thus, you lose the electric driver's window. I love the electric window.

We have a 2015 Itasca Suncruiser 38Q which is the same only different colors. Electric window? We don't have an electric window.

Love, love, love the floor plan, that's what sold us.

When we have it, it's nice. But right now it's in getting a bunch of things fixed. We got the king bed and love it. They are probably getting rid of the door because of squeaking problems that seem to be common with the window above the door. There are a number of quality control problems that Winnebago needs to address.

I was also thinking about the safe t plus , but the steering is already pretty heavy and the safe t plus will only make it heavier, but interested to see how others make out.

Thanks Glen 68. I have Kelderman air bags on front of my sightseer and would probably do that as well as steer staff and rear trac bar.

I looked at the rear trac bar, but the F53 chassis has the exhaust pipe in the way. They do have a beefy ford front trac bar and it works nicely. It actually rides pretty nice the way it is.

Is yours the 38Q? My exhaust on the 35G comes out the side and did not interfere with the trac bar. The location of the hot water heater did prevent putting Kelderman bags on the rear.

Sorry Creeper I missed the earlier post. I now know you have the 38Q. I have been considering the Roadmaster try center as my next steering stabilizer. I have had steer safe and the road master steering stabilizer and both are good. More fore safety than anything.
