Winnebago lesharo

My father bought a 1984 winnebago lesharo today. I don't know whether to accept this as a challenge...

or weep silently and accept my fate...

I will accept congratulations, taunting, advice, offers, etc.

  • Sorry for your loss. I saw a LaSharo and that is what lead me to a B to start with for traveling. As soon as I found out the mechanicals were Renault, I walked away. I have seen some with conversions to a modern mainstream drivetrain, but it's not easy or cheap to do. My guess is your dad liked the interior and it was cheap, thinking he could make it work, no matter what. Good luck with that.
  • Hold your head high and accept it as a challenge. An unusual RV is better than no RV.

I don't see a lot of them but, I do see some on the road.

Keep us updated on your progress.
  • Here is a forum dedicated to the LeSharo.

Just to clear this up before someone says it's a Class C.
Even though the Rialta, which is similar looking, is a true Class C, the LeSharo is a Class B. Indicated by the forth digit (B) in the Vin no.
  • Is it the renault diesel or a gas rig? Either way its an unusual quirky coach, chassis parts can be somewhat hard to come by :-/
