Winnebago vs Tiffin

Now looking at Winnebagos & Tiffins. Since there are many more Winnebagos to look at here, and seem to have more to offer for the price, are there any discernible differences that would make us choose to wait for a Tiffin?
  • Winnebago will likely have more squeaks and rattles, but once you find and fix those you will enjoy the lower Winnie price.

I would go with a Tiffin over a Thor Integra any day. I do not consider an Entegra a "top" of the line coach except for price. I would go with a Winnebago over Tiffin just because of parts availability. If Winnebago doesn't have it in stock they will make it for you. Been there . . . done that. Had part in 2 weeks that they had to make.

On another note Tiffin will generally repair things for no charge even when out of warranty. Been therre . . . Done That also.

Absolutely no difference in the Itasca and Winnebago coaches - just the name

  • Winnebago for their outstanding service and support and their quality. They stand behind their products for years after purchase. They will even fabricate a part for you if no longer available such as body molds, tanks, dashboards, etc. A friend of mine has a 1974 Winnebago Indian that needed a new fresh water tank. They made one for him last year. Price was around $200. I hear Tiffin is good too but I also hear about issues with discontinued parts from frustrated Tiffin owners...….
  • Winnebago has givin me greate tech support and the quality of their coaches goes without exception. Fit and finish is almost perfect. I looked at Newmar, Tiffin and Winnebago, all for their build quality and although I would have been happy with any one of them, I absolutely do not regret my choise.
