- bukhrnExplorer IIIGas(with Seafoam) & Propane, both full.
- ksg5000ExplorerI top off and store the rig with full tank of gas to avoid condensation problems. I stopped using fuel stabilizers in my cars/rigs years ago - haven't notice any adverse impacts yet. Maybe lucky/stupid/stubborn/ or all the above.
- rbrandExplorerI keep my fuel topped up. The propane full and the water 1/2 full. But that is mainly because when it is parked at home it is my Earthquake emergency kit.
- ron_dittmerExplorer IIII agree that a full tank is surely best, primarily to address the condensation issue. Don't worry about the fuel being 6 months old in the spring time.
As far as adding Stabil or equivalent, they surely do no harm. But I do question if they are absolutely required for a short 6 month period. I question it because I never use any such additives in my seasonal vehicles and lawn care equipment and everything is always fine when waking them up and running them.
Fuel these days is formulated different than yester-year which may be the reason why I don't have trouble. - DrewEExplorer IIFull, with stabilizer added. I've generally used Sta-bil, but there are others available too.
- pianotunaNomad IIIAs full a tank as can be managed to cut down on condensation forming. I prefer Sea Foam to Stabil. I put in premium gas for the last two fills of the year.
- mbuttsExplorerFull tank with a fuel stabilizer added (either Stabil or Archoil).
