1. If you have a washer/dryer, just blowing out the lines with air won't work. You can’t blow air through the washer. Antifreeze is the only option. You really don't want to pay for damage to a washer/dryer from freezing.
2. If you have an ice maker in your refrigerator, you must also consider it. My refrigerator is a Dometic NDR1062. It has a plastic line that connects the water supply to the supply solenoid and a black flex line that runs from the outlet of the solenoid to the ice maker.
The supply line to the solenoid should be winterized, but it is safe to leave the line from the solenoid to the ice maker un-winterized since it is a flexible line.
You can disconnect the inlet plastic line to the solenoid and either blow it out with air or pump antifreeze through it. Be very careful when disconnecting that line. It is a compression fitting with a ferrule inside to make the connection water tight. Don’t lose any of the parts in that fitting.
3. Don’t forget the outside water fixture that are on many rigs.
4. Don’t forget the hand spray hose on the toilet.
5. I use antifreeze since I have both a washer/dryer and an ice maker.
Good Luck!
