Winterizing Winnebago Bus
Anyone know how many gallons of antifreeze it takes to winterized a Winnebago 42 ft QD? I have already put in 5 gallons and it has not come thru the faucets yet. Thanks for help.

- I have a similar unit - 3 Gallons max. I always run the back bathroom first, It takes just under 1 gallon to get that flowing antifreeze.
- If you do not winterize your Aquahot properly it could cost you thousands of dollars. Good luck.
Agree it should not take 5 gallons to winterize your rig. Did you put the 5 gallons into your water tank? - My Winnebago takes 2 gallons
- Remember that even a tankless system has water lines to and from, and some inside. Still needs to be drained, and or filled with antifreeze.
- my 40 footer with aqua hot takes less than 2 gallons not including pea traps,washer or black tank
- Are you dumping it in the fresh water tank or sucking it out of the bottle using your fresh water pump.
- This an aqua hot system (instant hot) tankless
- Without a water tank, 5 gallons seems to be a lot! Need to find out where it is all going.
- No hot water?? If an instant heat, make sure it is either drained well, or has antifreeze it it also.
- How are you putting the antifreeze in the water system?
