winterizing

hello, we live in a northern state. but we leave for the winter south after Christmas. and we were wondering if we should bring in the tv's until we leave. as it gets cold here. thank you..
  • Living in Canada, the great white north, we get many a week with temperatures in the -4 to -30 F range. I have 4 TV's in my 2010 MH, which I have never brought in. The cold has not impacted them adversely to date. If we are winter camping I do allow the TV's to get up to room temperature before turning on.
  • I don't bring mine in out of the cold. they winter quite well. it still works
  • It gets a little cool here, -20’s to -30’s seen every winter.....no problems yet!
  • There is no need whatsoever to bring in the TVs or other electronics due to cold temperatures. Some devices may have trouble operating properly at cold temperatures, but sitting there is fine for anything these days. The trucks delivering them to warehouses or stores do not have heated trailers.
  • I never did bring them inside and do not know anyone who does in northern states.
When I would dry camp in my rv's in below zero temps, I would not turn the tv on until the rv warmed up a bit. I don't know if turning it on while freezing cold would hurt it or not, I just never did it.
