You may never have had the exciting experience of driving a pointy screw into a wiring run; once was enough for me, even at low voltage.
I talked with a customer service rep at Winnebago today (the customer service supervisor, as it turned out; when I went to praise his good service to his supervisor, he told me he was the supervisor, so I suggested he pat himself on the back), and Winnebago's got engineering drawings for the wall panels that show the wire routing. There is, indeed, wiring in that wall, but it's 17" from the floor, and the mounting block for the new fire extinguisher will top out at 14-1/2", with the first screw an inch below the top of the block. So I'm safely far away.
Winnebago's consistently given me good, knowledgeable customer support when I've called; glad that our purchasing decision turned out to include that feature!
