It shows on Carfax ONLY if the insurance company reported it or if enough time has passed for it to show up on their records. Several years ago our jaguar was totaled by the insurance company and it was repaired, sold, and shipped overseas, before anything ever showed up on Carfax. Nothing beats a very thorough inspection from someone that is qualified to evaluate a motor home.
