WOW What a difference!

After weighing our motor home, adjusting the tire pressure accordingly, having the front end aligned, and doing the CHF on the rear, all of which did little to help with the handling of the motor home out on the road. I finally broke down and bought a rear track bar and installed it myself in about three hours. WOW what a difference that made!!!! I can now relax and drive with one hand even when being passed by semi’s. I used to fight the steering constantly just to keep it in my lane and would be wore out by the time we got where we were going, not anymore. I am a happy camper!! LOL :D

  • Any lost motion on the bottom size can lead to lost motion on the top side. :)

It is funny how the last thing we try often turns out should have been the first we tried. I know for our P30 Steer Safe is a great solution. Sounds like on the Ford tightening up the rear is a great solution.

Glad you can now enjoy the ride.
  • Ain't it great when you get a problem figured out? Even better when you solve it yourself! An "attaboy" to you!

It was a Track Bar. I still have the OEM sway bar on it.

What kind of rv did you install this in.

    It's a 2014 Thor ACE 30.1 on the Ford F53 chassis.

  • Congrats!! Sure is nice when you can enjoy the drive. I used to have to fight our Southwind 32' gasser even after installing steering stabalizers. Upgraded to our 38' DP & absolutely love it. My back is no longer tensed up at destination. :C
